Step by step how i made my charity ad

1. The first thing I did with my original photo was to put a spot light onto the main image. This gave the effect that light is shining through the window and lightening up the expression on the Childs face.

As my charity add is about child abuse I wanted the ad to look gloomy with an attempt to resemble the Childs feelings. I went on filter and used the sumi-e effect. I also gave the background a tint of red.

For the slogan I wanted the writing to resemble the feelings and actions of child abuse. This was done by the style and colour of the font. The font style has speckles of dots around the lettering.  As I changed the writing colour to red the dots around the writing became hard-hitting and I thought it could resemble blood.

I gave my ad a charity logo to show the reader what charity it was representing. I have altered a few letters and font so it looked liked my own logo.

This is the original logo for Barnardo’s. I have changed the colour of the people to red and swapped the ‘r ‘and the ‘a’ around to make it my own logo.
