Double page spread

I wanted my double page spread to be easy and simple to read. With a powerful image on the left and chatty, fun writing on the right. Using quirky titles e.g. 'Live at the o2' and 'Mr Ronson is back'. This starts to pull the readers into the magazine wanting more about the article and finding out what Mark Ronson has been up to. Using rhetorical question such as 'Has Mr Ronson got new hair?' making the readers question themselves. I have tried to create a vibe on this double page spread and throughout my magazine. I want my magazine to resesmble a music journal in a way, giving all the latest gossip and information on music there is to know!
I did not want my sub headings and phrases to be in normal font so I tried finding textured writing to bring out the funkiness within this magazine. With the main heading looking like it has been ripped out of a newspaper, demonstrating a rebellious attitude in it.
I did not want to use too many colours as it would clash with the front cover and content page.I mostly used blacks and white, and a bit of purple to try and keep it subtle and sophisticated.
I am happy with the outcome of my double page spread and the way it looks and feels. If I could change anything I would have added a bit more writing to fill up the space in the bottom right hand corner.
