analysing film trailers

This horror trailer has a simple side to it but a very effective way. The way in which they link all the individual slides together works well and makes it flow more. Flashing from one scene to the other. Having scary but easily created clips e.g. when the music starts to randomly play and the strangers walk past the window to create a scary jumpy effect. Some of the phrases and words which they uses are catchy and effective; 'why are you doing this to us?' 'Because you were home' this is said very calmly which makes you have chills from watching it. We will be trying to add some of these ways of creating this horror trailer in our own horror.
