Some trailer shots

Through out are trailer we wanted to include interesting and unusual shot which will shock the audience watching this trailer to persuade them to watch the full horror film at the cinema. Teasing them with uneasy clips, it will make the audience want to know whats going to happen next.

This clip has the two girls who are starting to realise that there is something not right about this house. The girls are in the centre of the screen with the little girl lurking in the shadows. We added the little girl to the be in the shadow and to the left of the clip because it looks creepy rather than her appearing in the centre of the image.

Here is a high angle shot up towards the mirror. We wanted to get the lighting perfect on this shot and the angle to make it more effective. By using a high angle shot it looks like the little girl is in control of the situation and makes the characters and the audience feel intimidated. Creating a shadow on the little girl and only letting you see the outline of her gives you shivers down your spine, as you cant see her expression on her face putting you on edge.

This shot is making the audience feel aware of the little girl appearing everywhere and anywhere they go she will be there to. With the two students sitting down and the little girl standing it makes you feel that she is out powering them and has the situation in her hands.
Even though this is a very easy shot to create it is by far one of the most creative ways to make the audience feel on ease and gripping to their seats. By having the camera on a angle on the floor and the little girl standing it over it makes you feel little and not powerful. We wanted the audience to think that we dropped the camera on the floor and something scary or jumpy is about to happen. In this shot we only show the little girls wellies and part of her dress. This is letting the audience viewing this trailer to be aware of the red wellies and if they see them shes there or close by!
By doing a close up on the little girls face and being the whole of the frame, this is meant to make you feel that she is watching you all the time. By putting the torch under her chin is to make her face stand out from within the dark room so you know she could pop up in the film at any time.
